How an order runs
Six steps, and what we need from you at each one
Inquiry
Send input plug, phase, outlet count, metering grade and target quantity — an engineer replies within 48 hours with a first spec sketch. A photo of your current PDU's label is enough to start. Your part: rough rack load (kW or amps), your mains voltage and a quantity range.
Spec review
We turn the inquiry into a dimensioned datasheet — outlet map, breaker sizing, cord gauge, protocol set — and quote FOB against it. Two or three revision rounds are normal before the build freezes. Your part: mark up the drawing and confirm the frozen revision in writing.
Sample
Stock configurations ship from finished goods; semi-custom builds run the pilot line in 3-7 days so you can bench-test the real hardware. Your part: test against your own checklist, then send an approve-or-revise note — the approval becomes the batch acceptance standard.
Order
T/T 30% deposit starts the line, balance before shipment. OEM silk-screen, carton print and firmware branding are locked at this point so nothing drifts mid-run. Your part: issue the PO, send the deposit slip and hand over logo artwork in vector format.
Production & test
Your batch moves SMT to final assembly in-house, then through per-unit calibration, 100% functional testing, 1500V AC hipot and 48-72h full-load burn-in. Serial ranges and test records are shared as the batch closes. Your part: if you use a third-party inspector (SGS, BV), book them into this window — the floor is used to receiving them.
Shipment
Cartons of 4-8 units on FOB, CIF or DDP terms, with packing list and test records in the document pouch. Tracking starts at the port gate, not at "left the factory". Your part: confirm consignee details, destination port and any import paperwork your broker needs.

Ordering and money
Catalog standard models start at 5 units, and most lines accept a 1-unit evaluation order at single-unit pricing. Custom and OEM builds carry a 100-500 unit MOQ depending on how much certification and firmware work the platform absorbs.
Configured samples leave the factory in 3-7 days, stock standard units in 7-14 days, and semi-custom builds in 14-30 days after the deposit and a frozen drawing. A ground-up ODM with new certifications runs 45-90 days.
Standard terms are T/T with a 30% deposit and the balance paid before shipment. L/C at sight is negotiable on volume contracts, and we accept PayPal for sample and freight fees.
Yes — sample units are billed at single-unit pricing plus freight and ship by express in 3-7 days. The approved sample spec doubles as the acceptance checklist for the production batch, so what you bench-test is what the line is held to.
Customization and OEM
Electricals first: input plugs in IEC 60309, NEMA or regional standards, cord lengths of 1.5-3m in 1.5-6mm² gauges, and any C13, C19 or locking outlet mix from 8 to 48 positions. Structure comes next — 1U or 0U housings, silk-screen and colors — then firmware: branded web UI, your company name in the SNMP sysDescr and custom alarm thresholds.
Private-label builds start at the 100-unit tier for silk-screen, carton and manual branding; firmware-level customization and new certification paths push the tier toward 500 units. Below those volumes, configured stock-platform units are the economical route.
Send the datasheet, or clear photos of the outlet face and input plug. We redraw the outlet map, confirm breaker sizing and quote against a frozen drawing — usually within 48 hours of receiving usable photos.
Yes: branded web UI, your company name in the SNMP sysDescr field, assigned MAC OUI blocks, custom thresholds and MIB labels under your part numbers. Custom firmware builds pass the same 100% outgoing test as standard units, including SNMP walk verification, before packing.
Shipping and trade terms
FOB Ningbo or Shanghai is the default; CIF and DDP are quoted on request. First-time buyers without a freight forwarder usually take DDP, so customs clearance stays our problem instead of a surprise at the port.
None. Rack PDUs carry no lithium cells, so there is no UN38.3 or MSDS paperwork, no dangerous-goods surcharge, and full access to air, sea and express lanes — typically 15-30% cheaper freight than battery-backed power equipment.
Every unit ships in an antistatic bag inside its own color box, 4-8 units per drop-test-approved export carton at 15-40kg gross. 0U vertical units travel in dedicated long cartons to protect the chassis.
Every unit carries a 24-month warranty from bill-of-lading date; 36-month and longer terms are written into volume and service-stock contracts. Claims start from the serial number — the calibration and test records of that exact unit are on file.
Technical and billing
Input metering holds ±1% on the IEC 62053-21 class 1 accuracy basis, and each unit is calibrated against a reference source before the housing closes — the record ships with the serial. Per-outlet figures run ±1% current and ±2% energy, with 15-minute kWh settlement freezes for invoicing.
Yes — that is the job of the outlet-metered line: per-outlet current, voltage and kWh with 15-minute settlement values that your DCIM or billing system polls over SNMP or REST. Colocation operators run tenant invoicing and internal chargebacks on exactly this data path.
Up to 8 units share a single IP through the daisy-chain port, which keeps cabling and IP planning simple across a row of racks. Each unit still reports its own serial and outlet map, so DCIM inventory stays per-unit.
SNMP v1/v2c/v3, HTTP(S), SSH, Modbus TCP, REST API and MQTT for cloud brokering. The MIB file and REST documentation ship with the order, and Sunbird, Device42 and Nlyte are the integrations we meet most often.
Recovery is configurable — last state, all on or all off — and re-energizing can be sequenced in groups with programmable 0-999s delays so a returning feed does not trip on collective inrush. The policy persists in the PDU, so no management network is needed at the moment of restore.
UL 62368-1 — the current standard since UL 60950-1 was withdrawn on 2020-12-20 — plus CE covering LVD, EMC and RoHS, UKCA, FCC Part 15 Class A and an ISO 9001 factory system. CE and RoHS declarations plus test reports are issued per order, and per-unit calibration records are available on request.
