Vertical rack PDU: the outlet row leaves the 1U bays alone
A zero-U chassis mounts on the side of the rack, 44mm across, up to 1800mm long, so the front bays stay free for equipment. Internals run on VDE 2.5mm2 or 6mm2 copper busbar and.

Where the chassis goes, and what it frees
A rack that runs out of front space runs out of power outlets at the same time. The vertical chassis is bolted to the side rail, so the outlets move to the one face of the rack that was already empty and the 1U bays stay free for equipment. Outlet order follows the drawing: the row runs top to bottom in the sequence the rack was cabled for, so a device can be traced to its outlet without pulling the unit.

Chassis and electrical envelope
Lengths, section and conductor sizes are the three values that decide whether the chassis fits the rack, so they open the parameter table.
| Item | Value | Basis |
|---|---|---|
| Mounting | side rail, zero-U | Bracket set supplied with the unit |
| Section width | 44mm | Chassis across the rack depth |
| Standard lengths | to 1800mm | Cut per rack height at order |
| Internal conductors | VDE 2.5mm2 / 6mm2 | Rated to the feed current |
| Input / output current | 10A ~ 32A / 10A ~ 16A | Feed breaker and outlet rating |
| Working voltage | 110V AC ~ 250V AC | Single phase or three phase |
| Frequency | 50Hz ~ 60Hz | Metering and switching logic |
| Outlet types | IEC C13 10A / IEC C19 16A | Mixed on one row from the drawing |
| Metering accuracy | 1% current, voltage, power | Where the metered option is fitted |
Eight figures on the zero-U chassis
These are the values a rack drawing has to answer before the chassis can be cut.
Four checks before the chassis is cut
Rack height
Usable side-rail length sets the chassis length, up to 1800mm.
Rail drilling
Bracket hole pattern is taken from the rack photo or the rail drawing you send.
Cable entry
Inlet and outlet entry faces are fixed before the sheet metal is cut.
Outlet order
Left to right, top to bottom, in the sequence the rack is cabled for.
The face of the rack that was already empty
A vertical chassis trades the front bays for the two side rails, and the trade is the point of the form: the outlet row ends up where nothing else was competing for space.
