Quality system
Every serial number earns its carton
An ISO 9001-governed process pushes each rack PDU through six inspection gates. Only units with a complete, serial-traced test record get packed — fail a gate, and that unit rather than the batch stops for teardown and root-cause work.
Six gates
Between parts and pallet
IQC — incoming
Connector retention forces, relay and breaker samples, PCB laminate and cord crimp checks on every received lot. A rejected lot goes back to the vendor with the measurement data attached.
In-process check
Between SMT and final assembly, line inspectors verify board placement, busbar joint torque and cord terminations. A drift caught at the bench costs minutes; the same drift found at burn-in costs days.
Calibration gate
Metering units are trimmed against the reference source to ±1% and issued a per-unit calibration record — the exact paperwork colocation and GxP auditors ask to see.
Functional gate
A unit passes only when every outlet switches, every state readback matches, and the full MIB tree answers the test script. Anything less sends it back to the bench, never onward.
Hipot gate
1500V AC dielectric, input-to-ground and input-to-output, on every unit. Safety failures quarantine the serial number for teardown — rework-and-forget is not an option here.
FQC & burn-in
Final QC reviews the complete record, then units run 48-72h full-load burn-in. A clean burn-in closes the file, releases the carton and fixes the serial range in your packing list.
Outgoing tests
What gets tested, how, and to what criterion
| Test item | Method | Pass criterion | Coverage |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dielectric withstand | 1500V AC applied input-to-ground and input-to-output | No breakdown or arcing | 100% of units |
| Ground continuity | Low-resistance fixture across the earthing path | < 0.1 Ω | 100% of units |
| Input metering accuracy | Reference source at defined load points | ±1% energy, billing grade | 100% metered and above |
| Per-outlet metering | Per-outlet reference load steps | ±1% current / ±2% energy | 100% outlet-metered units |
| Outlet switching | Sequential energize with state readback | Every outlet switches and reports | 100% switched units |
| Sequencing | Programmable delay set and measured | Delays match setpoint across 0-999s | 100% switched units |
| Protocol response | SNMP walk and REST script over the OID tree | Complete response, v3 auth OK | 100% networked units |
| Relay endurance | Batch sample actuation testing | Meets 100,000-cycle design rating | Sampled per lot |
| Branch protection | Hydraulic-magnetic breaker trip check | Trips within curve, 9-63A range | 100% where fitted |
| Full-load burn-in | 48-72h at rated load, telemetry polled | No faults, no telemetry gaps | 100% of units |
| Record audit (FQC) | Serial-traced record reviewed against the test log | Complete file, deviations closed | 100% of units |
| Packaging drop | Packed carton drop per schedule | No damage, contents intact | Sampled per batch |
Test records are keyed to serial numbers, so the file that proves your batch also traces every unit inside it — unit-level evidence, not a statistic.

The long gate
48-72 hours where nothing may surprise us
After the functional and hipot gates, every unit goes onto a full-load burn-in rack for 48 to 72 hours with telemetry polled throughout. A drifting sensor, a sticky relay or a thermal hotspot shows up here — on our power, in our racks — instead of in your rack during week one of deployment.
Burn-in is also where batch-level evidence is collected: per-serial telemetry logs feed the outgoing test report that ships with your order on request. The stations upstream are described step by step in the factory tour.
